The story of Home Scanner

I was buying a house in Waterford. I was checking Daft, MyHome, Property.ie, and dozens of different agent websites. Every day. Multiple times a day. And I was still missing opportunities.

I'd find listings on agent websites hours before they appeared on the portals. I'd miss price drops because no one tells you about those — Daft certainly doesn't alert you when a house drops €46K overnight. I was spending more time checking websites than actually looking at houses.

So I built something to do it for me. Direct scraping of agent websites. AI scoring based on what actually matters to buyers. Instant alerts for the things that matter. A calm morning brief instead of obsessive checking.

What started as a personal tool became something bigger. Other people in Waterford needed this. And they still do.
